Sometimes they get closed if they carry on for a long time and the welcome posts have stopped and been replaced with off topic banter (much like this has now) and other times people just stop posting in the thread so theres no point in closing it, the thread just sinks onto page 2 and beyond.

If I remember correctly weren't you the guy that repeatedly posted crappy macro images that were totally spam?

I mean, it would be okay if they were funny but they just sucked and were a waste of bandwidth.

Of all things I think you would have been the first to post about Famine.

Don't worry about welcome threads, they all go the same way, and in the last few MachOne has felt the need to object to it which looks like it's riled a couple of people. Everything else is kept far more on topic.

Yes I did notice that, I also noticed that earlier in the thread he was complaining about a joke being old?
