Open Lobby Seasonal Events Online Dealership Icons Ugly?

What are they supposed to be anyway? They look like a flag draped over rump. The online dealership looks like a door or the letter H.

Whoever designed the UI....

Am I the only one who think they are strange looking and ugly? I ask because they must have looked good in the eyes of someone at PD.

Edit: This is not a complaint thread. Just wondering if anyone thinks they are weird/ugly and or has some guesses about what they are supposed to be.

It's not a complaint. I'm just curious if anyone else thinks they are ugly and weird.

I don't care about the icons or the menus or shadows. Those things don't affect my enjoyment of the game.

I'd just like to hear some guesses as to what those icons are supposed to be.
 
I though people already thought about everything to complain about..
If you're wondering, the Seasonal Events icon is P.D's emblem.
 
It is a sad day for these forums when people actually take the time to make a post about icons looking ugly.
 
hmm .i never really looked at the icon and studied it i just know where to go, click and im there. it never once bothered me because to this day, i have never really looked at the icon its self. i just look passd it
 
The Online Car Dealership icon seems to be on of those displays at auto shows or dealerships than lists the cars equipment/technical data/price.
 
Com'mon people...the guy just asked what they are supposed to be. They are "strange" and look curious, now that I look at them (never even noticed them before).

I didn't even notice these until the OP posted this thread.

Seems like we don't have too much to discuss nowadays:rolleyes:
 
Come on guys, OP posts a simple question and everyone attacks him for it.
To answer the OP's question, I have no idea what they are.
I haven't paid attention to them, as a result, I only know that the OCD icon is orange and blue, the Seasonal Event icon is purple and the Open Lobby Icon is white.
 
FWIW, I liked the interface in GT4 better; for as long as GT5 was delayed and in production, I was not expecting things from GT4 NOT to get better. Of course, as long as they delayed GT5, disappointment is only inevitable and that is unfortunate, because it is still a marvelous simulation.
