Hey there I just saw that there was a post asking about everyone posting their own times for the Reasonably Priced Car Challenge, but it's been closed down for some reason. I'm not quite sure how you thought it would detract from the main thread, as it would run along side it not in competition, and we would all still read the main thread for the great interviews as well as seeing the main times.

I'm sure we've all raced the track in the same car as in the main post at home and I think it's such a good idea that I'm going to try again to resurrect it, I can't see the harm myself.

Hopefully we can keep this going

I'm sorry Daan if you feel like that, i thought this was a place to ask questions and share information.
I thought it was only natural to compete against others.
I enjoyed the thread and dont want or see how this will take away from that. If we all kept our times to ourselves then there wouldnt be anything for you to moderate.

Do you see another version on Top Gear stealing the stars away from the real show and using Top Gear's track?

I'm with Daan on this one. We only need one Reasonably Priced Car challenge and this thread is already very poorly managed.
 
How bizarre, i thought it was only human nature to compete against other. Why is this so different?

Surely it doesnt cause any harm?
 
I don't see the harm in this thread at all, the main thread is by invite only is it not?
 
Ok well thanks for the support guys, this is just a bit of fun, but hopefully a few more will add themselves.

an42drew I just need you to tell me if you're using a controller or wheel please?
