Opera Issue!

Any one else finding that Opera won't load .jpg or other image filetypes when they are clicked on. Mine opens loads of tabs until it reaches the limit then it stops. Has anyone got a solution. I have the most updated version but its been a recurrent problem across the last 3 or 4 versions.

EDIT: This only seems to happen on Vista, so I'm putting it down to file structure issues.
