operating slow

hey guys is anyone else game just running slow? sometimes after i finish the race instead of displaying finish then proceeding straight away it might take a minute or 3 sometimes more for it to be over. also there has been a few glitches. a couple tracks i have raced on the road will disappear and will get reflection of the sky instead.
another problem is that it takes forever to load. sometimes 15+minutes.
anyone else have this problem or know how to fix?
 
How long have you had the game? When it's new it does a ninja install in the background while you're playing, when it's you're first visit to a track it takes a while to load/install it but it gets faster once it's all installed. Also, try vacuuming out the vents on your PS3, it might be having a hard time breathing if they're dusty. Don't use compressed air as that would blow the dust into the internals, use a shop vac or something.
 
If it a disc version and see if it may be dirty on non-labeled side of disc and if it is dirty use a clean soft cloth and remember to always clean disc wipe the non-labeled side of the disc using straight strokes, from the center outward. If the disc is dirty the laser may not be reading the disc properly that why your having problems but again it could be something else but give this a try.
