OPM demo discs to feature GT4 updates.

How many of you get OPM magazine? I admit, I'm little too old to get this magazine, but something inside of me a while back said to subscribe to this magazine. I'm glad I listened.

OPM. Official Playstation Magazine, will start to feature Track Gran Turismo 4, a special addition to OPM's demo discs that come with the magazines. It will feature updates and interviews with PD staff, show new tracks, new cars, new features and several playable demos of GT4 will also accompany future discs.

This month's demo disc was just a 30 second promo, but I read that this new "Track GT4" will have the very first playable demo's of GT4. It's suppose to start next month, but I doubt very much if there is a playable demo by that time.

I'll keep you guys updated from time to time. That's unless you all start subscribing to OPM.

Yeah tell me about it, I am getting annoyed that some people are already getting a taste for GT4 but little old me isn't, I want GT4P!

I remember playing the GT3 demo to death back in the day, it featured the Penezoil(sp?) Skyline and the Deep Forest Track.

The last few OPM's I've purchased had no playables at all on the disc. Just a bunch of promo crap.
Heck, I only bought the mag for playable demos!!!

The new issue just came out. The one before had the new 007 game. I didn't like it, and that was the best game.

Yeah, the demos are wearing on the thin side for the past few discs. The disc before 007 had the new Syphon Filter game. I loved that demo. I played it over and over agan. They have too many "Viewable" demos, and not enough "Playable" demos.

This month had a few good ones, but they were short. My kids loved the Harry Potter demo. It was fun, and it seems like a great game, but it was short as hell. You only get to pass the ball, at that's it.

Yep, but OPM reaches out all over the globe, as far as I know. It seems stupid if Sony doesn't have a similar magazine for the the rest of the world. But then again, they didn't release GTC, or GT4p here, so...

Yeah well the playable demo of GT3 came on the cover of the Official Australian Playstation 2 Magazine so I would assume when there's a playable demo it will be featured on that mag.

@Solid Lifters - Yeah your right, at least I do have at least something better than GT3 to tide me over.

I remember the day I got the OAPSM with the GT2 demo, and the day I got the OAPSM2 with the GT3 demo.. both awesome days =D

hopefully I can continue the above with the GT4 demo.

Hope GT4 demos/updates etc make it on OPMUK, wouldn't buy it otherwise

GT2 demo on OPMUK, was on Rome Mini I believe (I've got it somewhere). Always dissapointed me although a (Road going) Ford Escort was listed in the Ford garage in demo in sim mode it never made it to final game

It's been a long time since it's been worth writing about the OPM feature Track Gran Turismo, but it's finaly time to do so. A lot, and I mean a LOT of cars can be seen, plus the interviews with the makers of the game was superb. Now, on with the juicy stuff.

I saw several new cars, in game, that looked super cool. One looked like a race car version of a Mercedes sedan that was colored bright blue and yellow. It looked lot like a the Spoon Race Car color of the Spoon S2000 in GT3, but the yellow was lighter and brighter, and the blue was darker. The paint scheme was totaly different too. It looked like it was user made; perhaps evidence of the Paint Shop feature of GT4. Remember, all the screen shots happen so fast, it was hard to really get a good look at the car. They showed the IRL Spoon S2000 Race Car racing around the track. The were a lot of exotic looking cars, IRL, like a dark blue sports car that looked like a Dodge Viper Concept car of GT3.

But the best new car seen being tested was a black 1969 Dodge Charger R/T! Yes! I hope it makes into the game.

We don´t have OPM here in Brazil. Hell, we don´t even have oficial PS2 here, we gotta import them from U.S.

Well, at least I have Prologue since last year, and can play both NTSC and PAL games.
