Firstly, if this is in the wrong place please leave link to correct thread and lock.

I have just listened to the latest Official Plastation Magazine podcast, where they spoke briefly about GT5 at E3.

http://opmpodcast.wordpress.com/

After speaking to Kazonori Yamauchi, what they claim to have found out is...

The 2nd Novemeber release date is set to be WORLWIDE.

My GT Lounge, a room where you can speak to your online friends, leave/receive hints and tips about upgrades for cars and spectate eachothers races.

They talk about head tracking, but seem a bit vague about it.

They also talk about the 800 standard and 200 premium cars, but nothing we didnt already know about.

I looked for it elsewhere on the forum first but couldnt find mention of it.

IF it has already been discussed, please point me to the right thread

I hope that isn't the release date.... November 2nd is a public holiday here!
... Is it?

If it is, we get it a day later. Big deal. We're in Ausralia - we'll still get it on the same day as America.

No shops open in Aus, on public holidays?

Thats got to be frustrating. Day off work on GT5 release day and cant get your hands on a copy

I suspect the Euro release will be Nov. 5th because games always release on Friday here (atleast in Holland they do)... I remember it was the same for Shift... That came out in the US on a Tuesday and in Europe on a Friday in the same week... I got it on the Tuesday already then because the shop I pre-order at just sells the games on the first known release date regardless if its Europe, US or anywhere else.
