The Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R Nismo should be there...one of the rare cars to be purchased...in the Used cars.

The NISMO 400R should be there aswell, one of the rare cars aswell, only obtainable once in I-A License with Gold Medals.You only had to be lucky with the choice of 4 colors: Red, Black, Silver and Yellow.It's also the best Normal car to be used...since it's a 4WD, while the Dodge Viper GTS is a FR.

Yes, even a FR car. But the best Viper!
I would also like a Viper road car in the List. I have a tendency to the RT/10 in Red :)
 
The Mitsubishi FTO LM Edition, black colored. That one I can't forget.Beautiful car, one of the best too!

Same goes for the Cerbera LM Edition! Purple/White or Green/White, still another very good car.

I do not know yet whether I ever take a purely because I already have the GTS-R. If there is enough space in the list there is the definitely with pure, but as a road car (Blue with white Stripes, of course).

It's due to the fact you can't buy this car in the Dodge manufacturer, you can't sell it either way.However the racing version of it, which you get in Purple or Yellow, it's considered like a racing car a.k.a able to sell it.

Also imagine if you were a newbie in the game, let's say if we could be able to sell the orange concept car and having no money to buy the the cheapest car in the game after some bad mistakes, you could have considered that a "Game Over" but they didn't want to happen so, it's impossible to remove it.

oops, forgot lol well i then all supra's? i owned all gt's so far but only the ps1 went to a friend with the games, and he lost them all! tip: never give your ps1 to a friend.
 
You can only have 100 cars in your garage.

A perfect garage needs one of each drivetrain capable of winning its drivetrain series, and a hard-tuned, non race-mod car capable of winning the Hard-Tuned and Mega-Speed series and All-Night II. As well as an unmodified car capable of winning the Normal. And a light-weight. Which could be one of the others.

Hmm. That's probably all you need to be able to win every series. Oh no. You need at least two of Japanese, American and UK. The right hard-tuned car can win a lot of the race-mod events, but perhaps have a race-mod or special model or two anyway.
 
I Just wanted to make one correction to the info in this thread. You can only carry 50 cars in your garage in Gran Turismo 1. However In GT2 you can carry up to 100 cars(takes a **** load of Memory Cards to fit a decent amount of the cars in the game.

As for the best cars...

Yellow or Purple Dodge Copperhead(set up right), Honda NSX LM GT-2, Mazda RX-7 LM, FTO LM, Dodge Viper GTS-R, Cerbera LM.

The 400R is also very good fully tuned alond with the TRD3000GT and the other top echelon sports cars in the game.
 
I have several [size=+1]GT1[/size] memory cards with 100 cars. And several with close to 100 (allowing at least one free space so that a prize can be retained). North American version.
 
That is so odd mine only fits 50 cars I even counted once I am confused. I wonder If it is because I have an old Black Label version. Did this game have versions like GT2 did ie 1.0 and 1.2 etc?
 
There were two versions. But I thought the old version loaded my new garage fine.
Anyway, there used to be plenty of evidence in Game Shark codes that the garage size was 100 cars.

You can buy without saving, so if you find some cheap cars in the used car lot, it should be relatively easy to test. Maybe buy nine the same, then one different, to help count.
