Optimum PC config for racing sim

Looking for recommendation on optimum PC config ( processor, memory, video card,etc...) for racing sim, like Iracing, Race 07 or Simraceway.
By optimum I mean best bang for the buck, not the best of the best.
any recommendation is welcome.
 
I can't offer much in the way of recomendation except what I am running myself, which is more than adequate
CPU: AMD FX-6200 3.8GHz (4.1GHz turbo) 6 cores
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1Gb
MOBO: Asus M5A97
Ram: Team Xtreem Dark Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz (PC3 12800)
PSU: Rosewill HIVE series 650W modular

I spent about $550 on the whole build, not including the HDD which I already had, so its not the cheapest you could build but still very reasonable. I have run all of the major sims including iRacing, Race 07, GTR2, rFactor 1&2, pCars, etc. etc. and it runs all of them at or near max settings without missing a beat

With this system you shouldn't have any trouble running triple screens with any of those games in case you want to go that route later on . For racing I would recommend triple screen (three 21" monitors gives you better view than one 42" HDTV) .
