Optimum Wheel Angle?

I find that with the Porsche wheel mounted to a flat surface. The wheel angle at 12' oclock is tilted back. For example looking from the right side it's like [ / ].
I have put some foam under the base unit at the back to tilt it forward more. It somehow feels more comfortable to drive now.
On ready made rigs I assume there is the option to adjust this angle as required.
With the more ,upright, position I reckon there is less pressure applied when holding the wheel one handed and changing gear manualy round corners hopefuly increasing the lifespan of the wheel.
What would be the more realistic angle to have?
[ / ] when flat mounted or
[ I ] when tilted forward?

Yeah....in the realistic world you can adjust steering wheel angle...

Can you realy do that on actual Ferraris and Lamborghinis? I never knew that. I assumed the steering wheel was fixed and it was only the seats that are adjustable.
Thanks. I'll stick with the new angle then.:dopey:

For all it might not be in an optimum angle in a Ferrari as it comes from the factory.

But imo, 10-15 degrees is enough tilt, at least for G25.
