Oh, ok. No problem. Don't you know how to send an item, but still keep it?

Here is how you do it:

Step 1: Go to Game Save Utility in the XMB menu.

Step 2: Copy Game Save to a USB storage device.

Step 3: Open up GT5 and send item/s.

Step 4: Quit GT5.

Step 5: Go to Game Save Utility once again, and copy your Game Save back from your USB, to your PS3.

Step 6: Open up GT5, and your item/s will still be there.

Note: If you sent a car, the thumbnail may have disappeared. Fix this by clicking on triangle, and selecting Create Thumbnail.
