Please consider adding an option to display the real-time +/- lap delta against the player's personal best lap during single-player races, just like the delta already available in Time Trial.
For me, this is one of the most useful driving-learning tools in GT7. It gives immediate feedback after every corner, so I can instantly see whether a different braking point, racing line, apex, throttle application or gear choice actually gained or lost time.
Without a live delta, you often need to wait until the next sector split or the end of the lap, by which point it is much harder to associate the time gain or loss with one specific corner.
Since the functionality already exists in Time Trial, it would be great to have it as an optional Race HUD element as well. Players who prefer a cleaner or more realistic HUD could simply leave it disabled.
I think this would make single-player races considerably more useful for improving driving technique, especially during endurance races where there are many opportunities to experiment with different approaches to individual corners.
