Options for posting spreadsheet?

Hi

Haven't got a clue about these things, all I got is an excel spreadsheet, how do I get it to appear in post rather than as an attachment, so it looks a bit like this post:

That's an embedded Google Sheet (Google's version of Excel which hosts spreadsheets online), which can be inserted and displayed in posts here. Excel files are just files, so the file is attached like normal.

To embed the Excel spreadsheet here, you'll need to convert it to a Google Sheet first. This is easy to do: just go to Google Sheets, create a new sheet, then go to File > Import and upload your Excel file. Then click the "Share", make sure access is set to public ("anyone with the link"), and copy/paste that URL into your post. It will be embedded automatically.

Cool, I think it worked (you don't know how bad my IT/'tech etc skills are, so totally didn't expect this to work).
