Has anyone gotten the original Driving Force, the official Gran Turismo 3 wheel, to work with GT7? Is there a firmware update that'll do it?
I have two that were known to work when I stored them. Each showed different error states on the wheels themselves when plugged into my PS5. I still have GT3, GT4, a working fat PS2 and a ~year 2000 ish PC for games like Sega Rally as part of my game collection, so there's a definite use for those wheels even if it's not GT7.
I did some repairs on them both and documented them over at AtariAge. Many of the issues they had could be fixed, but the original Driving Force was really a pile of crap inside.
