Ok how bout this.

What if PD offered a sweepstakes. PD would make a track where it would pass by the front of the winners house and encompass some of his or her area/town/city. Of course you would get to hang with the designers since they would travel to your home!

Just a an interesting thought I just had.
 
I always wanted to legally drive a car but I've got 2 years and 7 days untill I turn 15 and go for a permit. For everyone who can't do the math, my b-day is on the 6th of Sep. Maybe I'll slip a :drink: it can't kill me since I can't drive right?

I dont know... that sounds strange but than a gain i did have a little to :drink: and i am fealing a little:p and at the same time a little :sleep: .... okay im gonna go now.

I would say something, but its kinda inapropriate since we got a 12year old here

Im 16 and in Canada you have to be 16 to get yo permit!

Where do you live bro? Man, where I live there's only 2 ways you can get a lisince when you're 15, 1's a farmer's licence, the second's if your parents have can't drive(i.e. blind, crippled, or court rules them mentally incompetent), and you need it for medical use, like to get meds and stuff. I believe that once somebody's mature enough, they should be able to drive, cause I know that there's a LOT of people out there that can drive, but I'm a lot more mature than them, that's a definate.
 
Iowa, but i wouldnt want to race down my street, it has enormous potholes that would rip out the suspension in any car at high speeds, trust me, its happened. lol

So what was the reson in dragging the thread up? I'm not complaining i'm just curious about your reasoning behind it.

I'm still shocked that the GT4 forum has a thread this old.

Out of curiousity... did we know that GT4 was in production 3 years ago?!

Just wondering, how strict or how hard is the license test for ya'll in the USA & Canada. Is it more than just a drive around the block? I'm from Holland and here a drivers license is quite a valuable thing. People take around 10 up to 40 lessons and sometimes even more before the get their license. Also it costs around $1000-$1500
I got mine when I was 20, but not until you're 18 you're not allowed to get your license

Yeah, they did.
This was like August 2001, GT3 came out in Spring 2001. I'm just suprised that there was a forum created for this so early.

i suppose not. It's too early to start talking about Gt5 :grumpy:

And to come back to the topic, adding sweepstakes would be nice but we're already waiting more than a year for the release of gt4 and i'm not intending to wait another year. :grumpy:
 
I think you may find, this thread began before a GT4 forum was established and was subsequently moved later in it's life.

Why we've got all these random thread resurrections is beyond me o_O
