Original vs Sequel

Do you prefer a sequel to the original?

1. Matrix, 2, 3
2. Terminator, 2, 3
3. Blade, 2, 3
4. Rocky 1 - 5
5. Godfather, II, III
6. Ocean's 11 (remake), 12
7. Lord of the Rings, 2, 3


Here is my list:
1. Matrix 2
2. Terminator 2
3. Blade
4. Rocky IV
5. Godfather
6. Ocean's 11
7. Lord of the Rings
 
1 - Matrix
2 - Terminator 2
3 - I have only watched the first one so far
4 - Rocky V, I guess. Or was it IV.....
5 - Not really a fan of Godfather, but the first one was okay.
6 - Is this the one with George Clooney and Brat Pitt, where they rob a casino? If so, I have only watched the first one (remake). Really cool.
7 - The third one is the most exciting, but the whole trilogy is great.
 
Rocky IV was the one when he fight the Russian, V was when he teaches the younger kid how to fight after going back to his old lifestyle 'cause he ain't got no money.

I think Ocean's 12 was pants! The first one, the con was so believable and everything fit together perfectly. In the second movie, I thought the storyline was too far fetched.

Ah, definately IV then.

And I would also like to add:

Alien 3
Speed (I think that´s the English name. The first one was cool, the second I didn´t bother to see until the end.)
 
Why so many trilogies? thought this was about sequels.

2. T2 by very slight margin over the original.
3. Blade II 👍
4. Rocky Never seen any of them.
5. Godfather I can't remember, but probably the first one.
6. Ocean's 11
7. Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring(first one).

5. Godfather, II <--- can't decide between these 2, first sets the story, 2nd one digs deeper into it.
6. Ocean's 11 (remake) <--- it was ok, not as great as people say it is. Never saw 12.
7. Lord of the Rings didn't have any sequals, it was one story, this one isn't supposed to be in the list.


By the way, of all Die Hard movies I like part 3 the best, Die Hard with a vengeance.
 
I suppose Matrix 2 was better than Matrix 1 but they were so different anyways. Matrix 2 was most definitely better than 3... 3 was a total flop. :grumpy:
 
Haven't seen the last one but I was really irritated that he went back in time to tell the stories before the last episodes. Your kinda locked into a certain look then because if it things look better or more advance then the future it's kinda unbelieveable. A good ex. is The last Star Trek Enterprise show. :lol:

Am I introuble with the nerds since I said Star Wars and Star Trek in the same sentence?? :lol:

The Return. Anybody who says the original is better don't know what they are talking about......................... actually, I haven't seen either one. My friend did recommend the original one while back though. :)

The matrix was also one story, that's on the list though. To me, LOTR movies 2 and 3 are sequels.

The first one was one of my favorite films, when I was a kid. I never got to see the second one, but can't imagine it being better than the first one. :)
