Yes, that could very well be true, although I think people around him who knew of his death would leak the information out.

Um - remember, people, as your resident avid CNN watcher, I'd just like to say that most (stupid) Americans believe this is a war on Osama bin Laden. America considers killing him a prize, almost a war victory, and if they did kill him, Bush's approval ratings would be 100%. Bush would never hold off on the 'capture of Osama' - he wants to take the Senate!

Yep. I reckon he's dead too. Main reason is he'd have made some sort of appearance by now. Also the Brits have anounced they are pulling out in the near future, so job done, let's go home.
