While comming home from the holidays, as I was passing through the LA area I got T-boned on the driver side (I'm all good, but I spent a good ammount of time in the hospitol trying to convince the doctor that I wasnt hurt). My S14 is pretty much flushed right now. One of my buddies is going to buy my SR20 and FMIC and I'll probably use that cash to score myself a 91 240SX SE and fix that up.

Nah, it was late at night, er morning I should say, bout 3am. He, like myself, was driving quite a distance and was tired, and he let his fatigue get ahold of him and he plowed into me with his Blazer.

i think i speak for the whole forum when i say we have had a deep and great loss.....my condolences
may the memory and soul of your s14 live on in our hearts and minds...
it is a black day today on the gtp forums:( :( :( :( :( :(

btw... get well soon!!!
2 problems. 1) No digi-cam 2) Car is still in Cali at a buddies house that lives in Moreno Valley and I'm in Texas

I'll see if I can make friends with someone that has a digi-cam and atleast get pics of my new S13 (when I get it), if not pics of the wreckage.

R.I.P flohtingPoint's Nissan S14
I'll soon have the birth of my S13 though. As soon as I fix my hail damage on my Ranger, which just takes me throwing down the deductable, I'm either going to trade it or sell it, then pick up a 91 240 and start from scratch again. I just went to the store today and picked up the Chiltons manual for the 240 for the year I want (actually its a 82-92 manual on the 240, 200, and Stanza) and I'm looking to get my hands on a FSM in english for the 180SX.

The ranger was my daily driver, and the only reason I took the S14 home was to show some of my old friends it =/

Blazer vs. S14...
Yah, it was a futile battle =P His cattle-guard made its way pretty well into where my back seat area was and shifted my seat a bit too.

I feel pain at the thought of one less S14 in the world. I hope everything is well with you, and you are well compensated for.;)

Weren't you insured? I'm not very knowledgable on that point but nobody brung that point up.

Yea, we both were insured. Upon dealing with my insurance company, they took a look at the car and the estimate to fix it was greater than the cars worth, thus it was declared a total loss and I'm going to get a salvaged title.

hey are u selling parts off it?????

I usually try to keep marketing out of forums not labeled for sale. If you're looking for something, pm me and I'll discuss there =)

Good luck with the next one. and watch out for Cali drivers. They tend to lock up their brakes at the sight of a leaf in the road. (personal experience)

Ill just be happy to be under the hood again. My S14 was reaching the point where everything was pretty much taken care of and the only time I was under the hood was to do routine checkups and such. S13 chassis vehicles are more popular due to their price (and the price of the add-ons) and the reference materials are greater so I shouldnt encounter some of the problems I had with my S14.
