Other Drifting games

Have you guys ever heard of these games:

Kaido Battle1 & 2 - PS2
Battle Gear - PS2
Touge R - Xbox

There may be other drifting games I have left out but this is all I know.
Anybody knows about drift racer A.K.A. Kaido Battle that is supposed to come out about two months ago. Are they planning on selling it on US anytime soon?

XD
I've played Kaido Battle 1, waitin on 2, and I own Battle Gear 3 =P. They're all pretty nice and different from what's sold here. I also have Initial D =P

I wish they could've translated those games. It'd be nice because I wouldn't have to "explore" and find out what the menus are.

lol, ferrie( spelling) challenge on dreamcast, mario kart, initial d, sega rally challenge :D

I have Battle Gear 3 and it is a sweet drifting game. The game is like Initial D, basically it should have been called Initial D because all of the Initial D cars are in it and you play the stages in the same order that takumi did if you run the S class races.

I've been trying to drift in Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 with my Driving Force Pro wheel.
A worthy investment, indeed.
Makes that series of games much more playable than with the DS2.

For a while, I was actually using the passwords that you get for best times and posting them on the japanese Genki Racing Project website.
I can be cool azn too.
Peace nk4e (this is Street Fighter).

Is the GRP Time site up again?
I read it was no longer accepting entries.
If it is, I'm down for comparing records with you.

Battle Gear 3 arcade is so cool. Everyone crowds around me when I swing the car, pop the e-brake, and downshift to stay in the powerband (even though I still lose the race). It's kinda cool (but fake at the same time) because the shifting takes place with the flick of the wrist and the e-brake has no release button so you just yank it without worrying about pressing the little button on the end of the lever (no biggie). Plus there's no clutch. I think the physics in Battle Gear 3 are a helluva lot better that the Initial D arcade and they shoulda used the Battle Gear 3 engine instead.

maybe it should go in the video and pics forums. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

i've played live for speed, pretty good game since its free.
also NFS Undeground, drifting in that is not good.

also, ridge racer. one of those in the series i remember being able to get a little sideways around a turn, though it was totally NOT drifting in the sense that we think here.
