May not seem like much, but we got 19 cars which is the biggest Dunedin meet we've ever had (been getting more and more cars as the years go by). Coulda had at least 25 if everyone made it along.

We certainly got a few looks from people during the cruise anyway. :D A mid-age couple came along to the stadium and actually walked around and had a look at all the cars (all 19 cars were there by then) then scarpered. This is the sort of thing i like to see. :)

ATTENDEES:

1x R33 Skyline GT-R Coupe

CRUISE TO OUTRAM

"Don't look at them honey, they might see us!"

OUTRAM
Attrition rate wasn't too high after the stadium cruise, but lost one R33 on the cruise. And a few more cars left after this stop.

I thought i was initiating a nice straight line in the parking, but as everyone pulled in they all parked further ahead of the car beside, until the last few cars had nowhere to go but the other side of me. Did think about asking them all to line up straight, but meh - looks okay the way it turned out 8)

Ahhhhh, a Stagosaurus Rex! (no, that does't even make sense to me so don't know why i wrote it)

OUTRAM TO RANDOM SPOT IN COUNTRY CRUISE

That road leads down into the gulley (unfortunately no pics of the bridge etc but oh well), a lot slower and tighter than it looks on the last part.

Supra just casually strolls up to the rest of the pack. :P

RANDOM SPOT IN COUNTRY PHOTO STOP

CRUISE FROM RANDOM SPOT IN COUNTRY PHOTO STOP STOP TO LEE STREAM STOP. STOP?
Such a display of awesomeness that the camera gets a bit teary eyed, thus can't focus on the job at hand.

LEE STREAM, AND END OF CRUISE
Oooohh, nice clouds

So 9 out of the 19 cars at the biggest Skyline cruise weren't actually Skylines then? :p

Just kidding, looks like fun. Got an Evo cruise coming up in a week, should be pretty sweet. Get hassled by the local constabulary at all? We're a bit worried about that, because we're meant to have quite a few cars turning up, and it only takes one douchebag with a screamer pipe to kill it for all of us.

Haha, true - but technically they are. ;) All of the below have the Skyline RB engine in them from factory:

1x R34 Skyline GT-T Coupe
1x R33 Skyline GT-R Coupe
3x R33 Skyline GTS-25t Sedan
1x R32 Skyline GT-R Coupe
1x R32 Skyline GTS-4 Sedan
1x R32 Skyline GTS-25 Sedan
2x R32 Skyline GTS Coupe
1x A31 Cefiro Sedan
1x Stagea RS-Four wagon
3x Stagea 25X wagon

And nup, i've been organising these meets for years now and the worst the police have done is drive into the entrance of the stadium carpark, stop for a few seconds, then go again. :) As long as you stick to the road rules, let everyone know not to do skids etc you should be fine.

A Skyline engine does not a Skyline make :sly: I'm just being an idiot.

That's good to know, with your proximity to Christchurch I would have thought you guys would be under a bit of a microscope everytime you left the garage.
Skids/helis shouldn't be a problem, pretty sure most of us want to drive back home with a functional car. We're just a bit worried about the inevitable d-bags with the sick as cut springz on their GSR with the huge front-mount and the external 'gate with tha mad screamer pipe (but running 6 psi on standard everything else) who decide they have a point to prove at every set of lights. It only takes one.
