....how much time do you guys (and gals) spend playing the game?

I work swing shift, so have a lot of freedome during the day to sit down and race. I typically log two to three hours a day, five days a week. Which once I started thinking about it, is pretty significant. The weekends however, continue to remain reserved for the fam.

Sorry if this has been asked before, or the wrong forum, but I thought it'd be cool to know.

Depends, when I'm doing WRS then I can spend up to 4 hours a day, when there's nothing to do then I don't even play.

Weeknights: 2-3 hours unless its a holiday
Weekends: 4-6 hours
Friday night: 6-8 hours+

I'm married with a daughter, so this is how I make due... daily.

Same as Fobia, if I'm doing a WRS event probably 2-3 hours a day, if not then I may go a week or two without playing. I haven't played for a week although I'm gearing up for the WRS 2.4 Hour Enduro at Laguna Seca. I spent an hour last night testing paint jobs for my RX-7 TC.:dopey:

I don't think that I play enough but the wife thinks that I play too much. :crazy:

I used to play 2+hrs everyday whenever i can. Done with 2 accounts both reached 40/40 level. Gold all licenses and collected all cars. so if there's no new events that is posted here, my PS3 stays cool. With no more hard challenges i'm losing interest already and this is true to lots of my friends. Please PD give us some excitement again.

I got rid of my non-gamer wife about 4 years ago and found a new girl who plays more than me. 👍

Worknights = about 2hrs
Weekends = about 4hrs

Anything more than that gets in the way of "life obligations"

I'm guessing that WRS stands for some online racing series? I've yet to play online.

I go through hot and cold streaks, but I find that if I put the controller down too long (a week or so), my skills seriously degrade.

Interesting that we are somewhat similiar.

And my wife says I play a bit too much as well!

Used to play a lot
Weekdays: 1.5-2 Hours
Weekends: 5-6 Hours

But after my parents took away my controller :lol: (I got it back later on :D) and the appearance of Need for Speed World, my playing hours on GT5 decreased madly.

Now...
Holidays: 5-45 Minutes

I quite enjoy the odd 20 lap race against AI in arcade, they seem to have gotten harder when set on proffesional with full aggression, I used to be able to beat them no problem, now I struggle.

Week days- 1-2 hours
Friday- 4+ hours (depends who is on)
Weekend-9-14 hours
Like I said, depends on who is on

WRS stands for GTPLanet's Weekly Race Series. It's made up of weekly time trial events, online races based on those time trials, and special event races every so often like the 2.4 Hour Mixed Class Enduro at Spa. It's run really well and gives plenty to do. You have to be a part of the GTPlanet registry to take part.

About 5-6 hours a day. Yea, I need a life but thanks to some dumbass kid who thought it would be cool to drive drunk, I have none. I'm now disabled and GT5 is like my great escape.

I play GT5 about 1 hour every weekday on average, I guess. My weekend gaming sessions can get out of control but I try to keep them balanced with other activities... y'know, get out and ride the moto or mow the lawn or make some phone calls or do some laundry or just do something else. If I have a busy schedule there may be a couple days per week that I don't play at all but that's kinda rare because I love this game. It is the greatest time suck I have ever found, other than sex and sleeping. :)

You are not alone, i played and i had to quit, but was in the japanese championship with 3 races to go. mum and dad got mad because i didn't quit. and now i cant play more than 1-2 hours but if i behave good i may get more : )
Akward that we both have the same story in a way :-P

When i first played, i was not continiuolsy on my PS3, but since i have joined WRS, i am getting addicted, spending at least 4 hours a day, and up to 10-20 hours during weekends..... but then again, they got such awsome events...

Well at the start is was several hours a day, then my interest started to go as online was such a shambles, let down further by the terrible driving standards. Then I joined a club/league, which I now help run. I now race with around 70 guys, in between organising events and updating stats/league standings. I am on at least most days for several hours. If you are growing tired of gt5, get involved with a tight group, racing is excellent, its not possible to walk away now. Lol

Now I'm playing like 2h a week. I might try to go to a series because I struggle finding good room online lately so I kinda turn off my ps3 after passing 30 mn looking for a good lobby and when finaly I found one, I'm disconnecting or the host leave after one race and it become chaos.

I used to spend my time playing GT5 around 3~7 hours per day, but not that much these days.
