Output problem on MC:LA

I just got MC:LA yesterday and something fishy is happening:
Sound cuts off after 15 seconds of gameplay
The road looks UGLY and pixelated
Game freezes
I outputted to 720p and it still won't work. Is it the disc or is it normal for this to happen???

How do you get rid of it? I got the complete edition that's why

How do I get it to work??? I really want to play it but the road... VERy annoying that it happens. What should I set it to so it works?Should I buy the regular version?

Complete edition I beleive comes with the DLC.
