Toho has got a film based on rally championships coming June 1st this year in Japan called OVER DRIVE.

Fun fact: one of the lead actors, Mackenyu Arata, is starring in Pacific Rim: Uprising, and his father just so happens to be Sonny Chiba (appeared as DK's uncle in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift).

For a rally movie, there's quite a lot of shots of the Wangan Honestly though, at least the driving looks somewhat beliveable (apart from that CGI crash scene). Sadly I think this will be so hard to find and watch outside Japan.

So the Wangan scenes are part of "Rally Tokyo". Interesting.
