Over sensitive analogue controls?

I only noticed it on some of the tests where you need to let go of the gas for a moment. The analogue sticks seem to have no dead-zone (or almost none!) and the car maybe gives 1/10th acceleration.

I have this problem on two different controllers, both dual shock 2 and one of them is basically brand new.

It really only seems to happen with this game and not all of the time ... Is the dead-zone something that they program into every game? Its kinda annoying, but it doesn't make that much of a difference during racing!

I never encountered any problems with my ds2 in gt4p. Works just fine.

Is this happening under other circumstances, with other cars?

The dead zone can be calibrated in most games, Its something I'd like to see in GT4.
I found the steering a little twitchy in a lot of the cars, and the ability to adjust the DS2 would come in handy.

It gave me some problems during one of the last coffee breaks, the one where you have to navigate a track as fast as you can without hitting any cones. Sometimes the car would just keep on going, I guess I can live with it though.

Doesn't seem to be related to a car or a circuit, just to the game. It only came to my attention after I had been playing for 2 days. So far it hasn't ruined any races.

Oh, ok. I noticed that too during the last coffe break. But since it only appears at slow speeds It should be the game itself more than none calibrated dead zones.
