I wish I had the knowedge and or capability to do this myself, could have so much fun with it doing it on a more realistic scale, would love to have have a few 900hp Rx-7 FD's and Supra's throw in a few 1,000+hp muscle cars too. None of this silly 3,000hp EK civics, bring it down to a more reasonable 500-600hp.

Left the game for a while because people were e cheating and finding anyway to cheat. Im on a team called DT.I and I have been around GTWW countless times and I would like to ensure you guys this. These dudes are legit fast, no bs hacking. If they have the car its for fun. Because at the end of the day I have never raced anyone of them in a car spinning tires all the way down the track.

Well the conversation escalated quickly. Just because a few modders decided to edit their games doesn't really make them cheaters. If they found a way to exploit the game code, it's not their fault, it's the developer's fault. Now I understand from a contest standpoint that a 5000 horsepower Honda Civic isn't exactly fair, but who's to say they weren't just bored and thought it would be funny to do this? Stop bickering. You're making yourselves look like a bunch of children over a modding a video game.

Wait wait wait. Let me ask this. Do you drag race? If not, stop now. We have enough drama here, we don't need another guy, who does not even drag, to create more. Got an issue? Go to pms.

I was just poking fun, and this thread is about a mod that appears on GT5 repeatly now, so I don't see why you care if I drag race or not.

Short answer, I do against friends in decent cars, but the mood in this community where a beaten people's first reaction is 'I bet you did e-cheat???' and where you have to create setups that are useless for anything than accelerating to the max on a given straight to post record times made me decide to go elsewhere.

One question WHO THE 🤬 are you???? so you hacked into a game ruining stuff but yet not man enough to put your psn under your name. Do yourself and everyone a favor leave.

You maaaaad? :sly:
I did never claim I 'hacked' into the game, on the contrary I mentioned in this very thread a few hours ago that I did not do any of these mods/hacks myself. And my PSN is put in right there under my post count.
Do yourself and everyone a favor and red before raging. 👍

Whoa this thread is getting out of hand, I think mod should close this, I only made this to share what I saw, never wanted any beef to happen between you bloggers, sorry! Please lock

 Some people get mad quickly when poking fun at them, I guess.

I know KiroKai. Do not disrespect him like that.

Thanks. 👍

He just disrespected this whole community including you.....

I don't think it's the developer's fault. Bugs and glitches that happen during normal gameplay are developer's faults (coding bugs), if hackers decide to try and get into the game's database to change settings/program values that are close to the legal borders, then that's at least partly their decision and therefore fault to do so.

I will restate this. Got an issue, go to pms. Enough derailing public threads. There's too much of this going on and not enough friendship, caring, and helpfulness. Everywhere in this community, there is tension, between teams, people, everywhere. Would be nice to see our sub forum go 1 week without fights. Doubt it will happen though.

Not trying to sound like a jerk, but once people have found ways to modify the game code, the devs should start experimenting with the game and prevent mods. People will ALWAYS find a way to work around the game's code, but the devs can slow it down atleast.

I think you should spell check before you correct someone. Also the way you said your statement about silly races etc etc. In which you disrespected everyone here by saying that, some of us are here passion. Also if you just found out about this and don't find drag racing silly then why would you come into this forum? Your that irrelevant that you have to seek attention ? So once again leave

Please mark my spell/grammar mistakes in that quote, as I can't see anything wrong except that you deactivated BB code formation and the straightened a in 'mad', which was typed purposely to emphasis on the fact that I'm not entirely serious about this, unlike the people who replied to me. While we're on it, it's 'You're irrelevant', not 'your'.

I didn't say it's 'silly', I just said I dislike this way of playing GT5 and the mood of this community without mentioning any specific person.

I came here because this topic interests me and I stated my opinions and reactions on a few posts. May I also say my intend was not trolling this thread, but now I just can't hesistate from smiling at some people going mad at me.

Spellcheck? Look who's talking.

To the point of this post - maybe he came here to give out his opinion, to which he is entitled? If he doesn't like drag racing, it's HIS problem, not yours. Seriously, why can't people stand those who don't write poetry on something they like?

Also, Kiro is NOT disrespectful. I also know him and he's easily the kindest guy I've ever met on the Internet; I don't think he'd ever try to disrespect anyone, especially on this forum.

EDIT:

2,500,000th post in this sub-forum!!! :gtpflag:

Well people couldn't stop fighting for an hour let alone 1 week. Now we just got to wait a bit for the mods to shut 'er down.

When and where can I get this trololo car? Lol would love a 1 bajillion HP civic haha

I don't mean to disrespect the community at all, but some people just seem to have very aggressive attitudes, and when it comes to team wars... that's what I mean by 'I dislike the mood of this community'.

It's amazing that the community regulars preaching "no drama" and "friendliness" waste no time being hypocritical when given the chance with a new-to-the-area member. Nobody has any right to tell other members where they can and can't post other than the staff.

This recent batch of hybrids in GT5 may be new to the game, but we've been here before. Almost all racing games can have this done: a member of our community provided an entire PC program to turn engine swaps and power mods into a point-and-click endeavor. There are fairly easy ways of both detecting them, and preventing them, in online lobbies.

Personally, I found them incredibly interesting in the past, since PD still have yet to include engine swaps. Creating a Monster Miata, for example, or other realistic replicas. Unfortunately, the methods of making them now with GT5 are quite a bit more complicated and shadier than those simpler times, and that is part of the reason many are uneasy about them. Plus, not everybody is as up front and honest about them as others.
