OzShift Tuning & Race Development is proud to announce it's berth into the GT5:P arena. The team at OzShift made this decision after a recent break from high performance racing and tuning. We are an Australian group looking to take the Gran Turismo world by storm with large range of tunes for exotic automobiles and turbo powered track cars.

We hope the community looks to us for initial tuning consultations and further feedback into their car's performance!

Our latest GT5: Prologue racing releases are as follows:

Touge Specials:
*Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A 2002: PP600 (Pro)
*Suzuki Cappuccino/ HP Tuned: PP600 (Pro)

Exotic Tunes:
*Ferrari 512BB 1976: PP681 (Pro/Std)
*Mercedes SL55 AMG 2002: PP700 (Pro/Std)
*Lexus IS F 2007: PP700 (Pro/Std)
*BMW Z4 2003: PP600 (Pro/Std)

Note: All tunes have a Max Turning Angle of 40, Traction Control is turned off and ABS is set to 1. (unless stated otherwise)

Obviously, this list will be subject to change if anyone would like to provide us with a car of their choice for tuning and testing. It would be wonderful if other racers and tuners were to give our team some feedback and constructive criticism on our tunes, and any other modifications that they may see fit. 👍

Kind Regards,

OzShift Tuning and Race Development

I had a feeling you'd start a shop when I seen your name a little earlier. It's amazing how many Aussies start tuning shops.

It is great to see the amount of Aussies through tuning and gt5:P threads. A couple of mates and i just decided to get together whenever we could and to start tuning up a few cars.

Looking forward to possibly racing or having someone race my tunes against yours, my driving has been a tad dismal of late haha.

MERCEDES SL55 AMG (2002)

images-1.jpg

Description: When discussing performance and handling aspects with the owner of this fine piece of work, our team were slightly hesitant to start the tune. We all knew that drivers of the SL55 need a strong wit and well weighted foot on the gas pedal to be able to control this beast. After many test runs, and hours of meeting with the client, our team at OzShift Tuning and Race Development is very pleased with the first tune to be released on GT5: Prologue.

Tested at: Daytona, High Speed Ring, Eiger

SPECIFICATIONS:

PP:700 551bhp
Tyres: R3

Power: +10bhp
Weight: 85%
Ride Height(mm): -20/-20
Spring Rate: 5/7
Damper: 6/8
Toe(Out/In): -0.15/+0.12
Camber: 2.4/2.2
Brake Balance: 2/6

GEAR RATIOS:
Final: 2.546

OzShift Tuning Notes:
The team here at OzShift are proud to have released our first tune, although there are a couple of aspects that future racers will take into account. Firstly, a heavy foot in the turns can cause for an early end to the races, drop down the gears and easy off the throttle, keeping high rpm, which will allow for further power out of the bend. We have further tried to combat this problem, the R3 tyres do work a treat. Still, it is the driver's decision as to how fast they are to approach a bend.

Cheers,

FERRARI 512BB (1976)

images-2.jpg

Description: A Ferrari connoisseur came to our team with a proposition, he was looking at buying the 512BB, and he wanted us to provide him with a tune that gave him an upper hand on his next track day. When the car entered our garage, jaws dropped. This stunning piece of machinery was ours to play with for as long as we pleased. Testing this car on High Speed Ring and Suzuka, we started to grin. Our team was very happy with how the tune ended up, and we hope the client was aswell!

Tested at: High Speed Ring, Suzuka and Daytona

SPECIFICATIONS:

PP:681 447bhp
Tyres: R3

Power: +20bhp
Weight: 85%
Ride Height(mm): -28/-24
Spring Rate: 4/6
Damper: 3/5
Toe(Out/In): -0.14/-0.10
Camber: 1.8/1.5
Brake Balance: 2/5

GEAR RATIOS

1: 2.782
2: 1.884
3: 1.552
4: 1.221
5: 0.939
Final: 3.186

OzShift Tuning Notes
We had no major concerns with this fine automobile as we tested. The R3 tyres provide a sound amount of grip, and the tune helps with power distribution. Do not be fooled by the 681pp, this car will make it's competitors quiver.

Cheers,

LEXUS IS F (2007)

images-3.jpg

Description: There seem to be plenty of drivers who do not associate themselves with IS F, due to the 8-speed gear box. The power that this v8 puts out is awe-inspiring, along with a capable amount of control for most circuits. This car was purchased by our very owner as a side project for the team to show the Lexus' true potential.

Tested At: High Speed Ring, Suzuka, Daytona and Eiger

SPECIFICATIONS:

PP:700 527bhp
Tyres: R3

Power: +12bhp
Weight: 85%
Ride Height: -15/-12
Spring Rate: 6/5
Damper: 4/2
Toe(Out/In): -0.10/0.04
Camber: 2.0/1.6
Brake Balance: 6/4

GEAR RATIOS:

1: 3.847
2: 2.403
3: 1.863
4: 1.502
5: 1.254
6: 1.056
7: 0.876
8: 0.740
Final: 3.268

OzShift Tuning Notes:
We are proud of this upgraded powerhouse that has come straight from our garage. The power that this v8 puts out is awesome! Racers must take into account the gear, further modifications can be made in order to hit that 8th gear, as you do shoot from 1st through to 7th in no time. Handling has been upgraded in order for drivers to burn this baby around most tracks in the Gran Turismo competitions.

BMW Z4 (2003)

images-4.jpg

Description:
We know, we know.... What are we doing? This car has already been tuned by BMW's powerhouse division "Alpina", and not even they can get this car to the likes of the small convertible/coupes on the luxury and sports car market. When BMW forward this prospect to our team, we were reluctant to start the tune. The car lacked acceleration, handling and above all had the most terrible exhaust note known to OzShift. So, our team actually got in contact with the crew at Alpina, and organised about 5 or 6 sessions, where we ventured to the High Speed Ring and flogged this car until we, BMW and Alpina were happy with this tune. OzShift hopes you are too.

Tested at: High Speed Ring and London

SPECIFICATIONS:

PP:600 285bhp
Tyres: R3

Power: +23bhp
Weight: 85%
Ride Height(mm): -28/-24
Spring Rate: 6/5
Damper: 5/4
Toe(Out/In):-0.08/+0.10
Camber: 1.1/0.8
Brake Balance: 3/7

GEAR RATIOS:

1: 3.610
2: 2.168
3: 1.606
4: 1.224
5: 1.059
6: 0.869
Final: 3.044

OzShift Tuning Notes:
Truthfully, not the favourite car in our workshop, but all the same, we have tuned this to be a formidable opponent in any racer's hands. Acceleration issues have been thrown out the window, with an increase in horsepower and weight deductions, along with carbon-fibre installments and stripping of unwanted electronics. We were going to enter this into the touge challenge, but Eiger has been very unforgiving on this BMW. This would make a great installment for any car lover's collection, along with the fact it is the cheapest beamer on the Gran Turismo circuit.

Cheers,

Hmm, I don't think you released enough tunes in a row.:sly: Have you considered entering a Touge Challenge yet?

just thought we'd put out a couple we've done in the last few weeks. and yes i will start major work on my touge, may start off with one at 500pp i think.

1: 2.895
2: 1.753
3: 1.262
4: 1.030
5: 0.717
Final: 4.560

OzShift Tuning Notes:
This lightweight turbo track car has been designed specifically to deal with the winding roads of the Eiger in the pp600 class of the touge competiton.
Drivers will be treated to a smooth, quick ride, and a fair amount of happiness as this baby's turbo whines into action.
Note that within the s-bend section of the eiger, regulate between 2nd and 3rd gears in relation to the amount of rpm present.
Cheers

MAZDA RX-7 Spirit R Type A (2002)

images-6.jpg

Description:
Previously designed as a drift car for various clients, we had an task set for the touge competition at Eiger for cars of the pp600 class. Our team sat down, and decided that this would be the best option to compete with some of the well established tuning garages around.

SPECIFICATIONS:

PP:600 350bhp
Weight: 1079kg
Tyres: S3

Power:+24bhp
Weight:85%
Aerodynamics: 0/8
Ride Height(mm): -35/-33
Spring Rate: 5/7
Damper: 5/7
Toe(Out/In): -0.10/+0.10
Camber: 1.8/1.4
Brake Balance: 4/7

Gear Ratios

1: 2.895
2: 1.765
3: 1.314
4: 1.029
5: 0.766
Final: 4.537

OzShift Tuning Notes:
Honestly, this is our pride and joy in touge tuning. Eiger's tight s-bend section is decimated by this rotary powered machine, and the gearing of this car allows for great speed along the straights. Use our car's tweaked handling to the best of it's ability and use as much throttle as u wish, within reason!. Do not be afraid to push the boundaries!👍

Cheers'
