P/P increasing after each race?

Has anyone else noticed their PP increasing after a seasonal race? Almost every time I try re-starting the 500PP race, I get a message saying "restrictions have been broken" or something. Sure enough, when I go to tune the car, my PP has increased from 500 to 501. This has happened about 80% of the time for me. Anyone else seen this? Any idea why it's happening?

If it's a new vehicle you're using, it's probably the engine breaking in.

Bingo. A new engine will run in a bit and gain power, a rebuild will do the same, and you'll even gain power after changing the oil. Power will rise for a bit, then start to fall off.

Interesting. Well, for now I guess I will keep adding ballast weight to bring the P/P down. Thanks guys.
