Pace car: Help or a Hinderance?

Just curious as to whether you guys use the pace car or not.
I use it on the road cources because its really quite slow and i use it as a "bumper" to get ahead of it (not the most skillfull method of winning but valid all the same). On the rally cources however i find the pace car gets in the way on the corners - it seems to blast up the straights and the does like 10kph round the bends - a crime on tahiti.

What do you think: a Help or a Hinderance

Definately a hinderance, as it is just too slow.

The pace car gets in the way, the idea is a good one but should be scrapped for the next G T

I found that blasted pace car a nusiance kept getting in my way
My lap times were better without the pace car on track

Other times you could use it as a barrier as you say not the best way to win but valid

i didnt use it for the golds cause even if it can be a helpful barrier in some corners it gets in your way most of the times
but its great fun to race against it and with some of the licence cars like the gt40 it doesnt stand a chance!

Definately a hinderance, it should drive at full speed so it stays ahead of you and takes corners at full throttle, so keeping up with it is the challenge, not trying to get by it.

For me it's a hinderance, but i think that it can be a help for the new players.
