I'm not that great of a pace note writer, so you can edit this if you want. CBA to write the other offroad tracks though, maybe this'll inspire you.

Start L6 -> R3 lg 40 L3 30 R4 -> R4 lgv 100 R4/C 100 OHPL -> R5 -> L4/C 50 L6 30 OHPR 100 L2 -> HPR 50 KeepR/BC J R6/C Down -> L6 L4/C -> R4 lg > -> R3+ -> L5 50 -> Finish

Legend:

L/R 1-6 - Left/right with turn severity rated 1-6, with 6 being flat and 1 being a hairpin
Numbers (40/100/etc) - go flat for this many meters
C - Crest
BC - Big crest
J - Jump
<L or R>/C - Go left/right over the crest
HR - Hairpin
OHR - Open hairpin
KeepR/L - Keep to the right/left
Up/down - uphill/downhill
lg - long
lgv - very long
-> - into

> - tightens

Some unused notes:
! - Care/caution - watch out
!! - Caution/double caution - More than care
Cut - Cut the corner
D/C - Don't cut the corner
Late
Braking

Without a legend for what all of that means, and the timing of when you actually say it, that is all just random gibberish.

What, exactly, is an OHPL? What's the difference between an R4 and an R5?

I can work out , that 1-6 are corner severity. 1 is like a hairpin, 6 like a kink in the road... 40 is distance...

So....

Start Left 6 into Right 3 Logs (?!) , 40 into Left 3, 50, right 4 (no idea on lgv) right 4 caution, 100 over ???? into right 5 into left 4 caution left 6 (logs again?) 50 and ??? 70 keep right because jump into right 6 caution down??? left 4 caution into right 4 (??) right 4 into left 5, 50, finish.

But of course for any casual GT player who isn't a rally fan that is gibberish.

Ahem, let me translate it then.

Start, left 6 into right 3 long, go flat 40m, left 3, go flat 40m, right 4 very long, right 4 over crest, 100, open hairpin left into right 5 into left 4 over crest, left 6 long, go flat 50m, hairpin right, go 70m, keep right over big crest jump, right 6 over crest, downhill into left 4 over crest into right 4 long, right 4 into left, go 50m to finish.

Ahh thanks :) :) - so I was kinda right.

Running through the course in my head, I think they're a good place to start, but I think there's still a bit of work that can be done to improve it. For example did you forget about the "chicane" and the fact that the long righthander at the end is actually a lot sharper than the one just down the final hill with the lefthander :)

I might contribute with what a few pacenotes myself

Well ****, I did actually drive through the course a few times checking them. Guess it wasn't enough.

We're all just human, we make mistakes :)

I don't know how you've found the distance between the corners, but I advice you to check out the Citroën C4 WRC, for reasons that become obvious when you drive it 👍

tbh I guessed, but yolo.

Like in real life, I'm pretty poor, I'll be sure to get it when I have enough credits.

Start, left 6 into right 3 long cut, go flat 40m, left 3 cut, go flat 40m, right 4 very long, right 4 tightens over crest, 100, open hairpin left into right 5 into tightens left 4 over crest much care, left 6 long, go flat 50m, hairpin right, go 70m, keep right over big crest jump, right 6 over crest, downhill into left 4 over crest care into right 4 long , right 4 into left, go 50m to finish.
It's possible that I've messed up with grammar, English is not my native language.

Oh, and I'd also skip those "go flat" and simply say the number.

Now Eiger Nordwand K :D

No cuts or care, it's a circuit.
But it has invisible barriers that can ruin a lap. And those "cut" mean that you have to go through the "grass" and not follow the "sand line" if I'm explaining it well.

Either way, C means "crest".

There's more than just "C", though. Personally, I think an exclamation mark works fine for "caution/care" :)

And yes, you can pretty much consider me making pacenotes for all (rally-ish only?) tracks in GT6 my new mission :D

I look forward to it.

I helped my brother learn the Nurburgring by watching and giving pace notes, I used the gear he should be in as the number. We were driving through the New Forest in Hampshire once and didn't know the road we were on, so I tried reading notes out using the sat-nav  It wasn't totally successful lol

1 is a 90 degree turn about and a 6 is longer swooping turn. Crest is a jump. That is the basic's of Pace Notes I know of... We need Nicky Grist...

There is tons of notes systems in rallying, it's just a driver preference.

You can use the angles (clockwise or not) by a simple value ( 4 left ) or a very precise number ( 130 right ).
You can also use the speed, the gearbox or even a word ( medium right ) ... And I didn't speak about the brakings points, jumps, size of the road, surface changes ...
When one person can describe a corner by 4 or 6 levels, some people can describe it by 10 levels. The most important thing is just to understand it.

But I don't really see the point of this in gt6 since there is just not any rallying apart from a few dirt and snow tracks with strange physics.

(sorry for my poor english)

I prefer descending numbered pace notes over descriptive, so I wrote them as such.

About the no rallying in GT6 part, I was bored.
