Paddles of Xbox One Elite controller?PC

Hi I'm planning on buying a Xbox One Elite controller to use on PC but have a question:

Can the back paddles be recognized as independent/extra buttons by PC2 or I can only map "regular" Xbox controller buttons to them?

Anyone with experience on that? Thanks

You can only map the "regular" Xbox controller buttons sadly.

You can, however, use the chatpad that attaches to the bottom of the controller to extend the amount of keybinds you have, it'll at least save you from taking your hands off the controller all together to perform certain actions with a keyboard.
