Well, today I bring you another masterpeice by Emil Baddal, wich was the creator for a car I posted earlier on (The Mercedes Benz SXR).

The idea was to create an aesthetically pleasing design while keeping the key features of a Pagani super car perceivable wich we can see, but it also features some slick lines along with it.

That a nice Pagani!
I can see a kind of Zonda but only from the side and at the rear.
Some lines here and there a little bit changed and it's ready for production.
👍

Indeed. I also see a mix of the Huayra with the Zonda, wich gives the car a great look.

What is with this fascination of posting cars that only exist as renders?
 I don't know, people are funny. It would seem that they look at a render like this:

They see the name "concept car", and immediately think of the Geneva Motor Show.
This must be a real, physical show car somewhere, why won't they put it into production? I want to drive one! NOW!
Most of them don't notice that the car was made by a wild design student with Blender and lots of time on their hands, because they want to show this to a company and be hired to do this stuff for real.

Well I know this and the SXR are renders, but I think that PD should give an opurtunity to these students and work with them to at least make their cars exist in the game, since it´s higly likely that Pagani and Mercedes-Benz will not work with them to make the cars real...

Yeah. No respect for design language. It's one thing to incorporate some design similarities (which the "SXR" didn't even do) and another entirely to do it in such a way that makes it immediately recognizable as a particular car.

This is a perfect example of a designer honoring this language. Yeah, it's absolutely outlandish, but looking at the slope of the hood, the rear tires pushed as far back as possible whilst still being enveloped by the body and that in-your-face egg-crate mesh...there's no getting past the fact that it's inspired by an R8.

Now have another gander at this one. Sure, it's got the V-line nose and the split (or at least partially) headlight lenses, but there's something off--the highest point of the hood is far too high in relation to the cowl and it disrupts the flow (I mean visual but quite possibly the physical as well). Things get worse when viewed in profile, as the front end looks 20% larger than it should in relation to the rest of the body. The effort put into these designs isn't what I'm questioning here. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate it. But it's one thing to come up with a design and another entirely to call it something it isn't.

All of this is trivial, though, because since neither car actually has anything to do with the company it's supposed to represent...neither will end up in the game. Again, neither will end up in the game. Regardless of the way someone feels.
