What's up guys. I was wondering, since I'm almost at the point of having all cars, museum cards, horns, etc. is there any reason to attempt to collect all paint chips? If there is any of you doing it, how are you keeping track of them all?

I'm 100% complete and have almost every car, but only have approx 1900 paint chips. That's less than half of them. Don't think I will bother. Like the rest of items you mentioned, it's a personal choice.

You can keep track of them using SlipZrtEm's Colour database

Yeah, I've seen it. But to use it, I would have to go through over 2000 chips and sort through them all. A bit more difficult than using the mygrandtourismo page. Any other ideas how to do this? My computer and PS-3 in in different rooms. That means I would have to write down everything and transfer into the database, or print over 40 sheets and use it as a check off list. I can see that taking a lot of time. Once all that is done, it is difficult to keep track of new chips since they don't tell you what company they are for, just color.

I agree, its a personal choice... Would I... no I dont think so and I have almost everything in the game too like you ;)

Thats when I move on from the collector to something else (Im looking into tuning... lol)

No I don't think there is another way. But yes After collecting all gear (thanks Ch1potle) and all museum cards and horns, I would think aout collecting them all.

I collect the rare and unusual paint chips because.... they're rare and unusual. Collecting the regular paint chips I find, well, pointless. It's a bit like going into B&Q and buying every tin of emulsion on the shelf so I can say "I have every tin of emulsion B&Q have there on their shelves! Aren't I a great collector!" well, no, not really.

It's a personal choice I guess.
