Paint.net???

What do people use to edit their photos on gt5? I tried using paint.net but it doesn't do much (I think), and I don't want to splash out the cash on photoshop. If anyone does use paint.net, can they tell me if I can add a signature and remove the watermark.
 
Another suggestion would be GIMP. Its like a free version of photoshop, just a different layout.:) I used to use it before i got photoshop.

I use Paint.net for all of my pictures actually. There's a trick you can do with taking out the watermark (but i'm too lazy sometimes so i leave it in) And yes you can add a signature, just add a new layer, or use the text to add what you want.
 
I thought cause I couldn't be bothered to spend any pennies that everyone else had photoshop, but obviously I was wrong.

Photoshop CS5. There are plenty of ways to get legitimate discounts to help make the price more stomachable.
 
I use Paint.net (aside from the astonishment that is the absence of a magnetic lasso)It is very very good and you can use the clone stamp to remove the water mark (a bit tricky too)

That's Photoshop Elements, which is like a basic version of it, far from a complete Photoshop. I use Photoshop 7.

Elements has never been £300.....
Don't get it confused with the full version of Photoshop, Elements is a watered down version of the full £600 software. It's still very very good for basic image editing though.
 
I was teaching Photoshop and someone asked if I'd run an Elements course. Turns out even V3 could do 95% of what most people use the full blown PShop for. Admittedly, some of the masking tools weren't as comprehensive and there were a lot less filters, but a lot of that stuff gets used once and forgotten.
 
It's a very good alternative for anyone just wanting to do photo editing.

For anything more than that I found it a bit lacking in features myself.
