I've just got a few questions about painting models. The environment is high humidity ( 70-95%) and relatively low temperatures (5-10 degress celcius/40-45 Farenheit). I know that these are by no means ideal for paining, but can this be cured by moving the car inside immediately after spraying? Or will the damage already be done? Spraying inside is not an option. Any suggestions, or should I just wait until it warms up?

I really don't think you will get good results like that, every time I have tried in in cold conditions everything looks terrible. I would suggest finding a friend that has a heated garage if you can't wait all winter.

Your main enemy will be condensation from the dramatic temperature change.
Wrap the model in a paper towel and set the model outside for about 15 minutes so it becomes the same temp a outside. Leave the paint inside so it stays warm. Once your ready. Imediately paint the model. Have a hair dryer inside the house ready for when you bring the model in. As soon as you bring it in put the hair dryer on it instantly. It doesn't have to be extremely hot but warm. Keep it on there for at least a minute or 2 until the model is up to room temperature. After this you will be fine. Let it dry and cure then you should have a nicely painted model. 👍

Just wondering - have you tried this yourself, or is this all theoretical?

I have painted just about everything ranging from real cars to houses to commercial and industrial buildings for over 12 years. 👍
