I'd like to be able to apply a paint job in a preview mode, such that I can use the thumb-sticks to navigate around the car and really assess whether I like the end result.
The GT6 implementation provides a preview with limited control over angle of view, no control over distance of view and presents the preview in a very small window.
To really inspect the paint job with full screen viewing, it is necessary to actually pay for the painting and then take the car to a Travel Photo location for inspection under different lighting conditions, get out the camera and take photos.
By then, the money is spent, and requires repainting to correct the "mistake".
If the original car was delivered with a special paint job, I'm not sure that I could get it back to original, such as with the Firebird Trans Am with not only the eagle, but the special edition. Never tried this.
