ever body is talking about costom paint jobs and stickers biut i rather them just put in a pain shop. When you go in to buy tires oil etc. you shold be able to buy a paint job like say you bought a used car and its a crapy green color you cand change it for 2000 dollors or for 1000 dollors and pin stripes on the car. I know there have been alot of topics on this and i searche and did not find anything like this.:)

Yea it would be good to have custom paint jobs and maybe custom bodykits.

paint jobs yes...body kits, go play txr0

I would'nt mind body kits as long as the parts were proper perfomance parts not ricer kits.

body kits.. ehhhh i'll just buy NFS: Underground for that... but a paint shop would be awesome i wanted that since the first gt... like when you do buy a used car and you dont like the color you change it or even a new car just say after awhile you get bored with it just paint it, i think that would be a great addition to the customization to the car.... and yea maybe some decals might spice it up a bit lol...

The paint thing is cool, but PLEASSEEEE NO BODYKITS. To many games out there already have them, don't ruin the whole GT series franchise with them.:yuck: 👎

Not being able to paint cars is one thing that bugs me in GT3. For instance. The GT40 comes in five different colors. To win a GT40 you have to win Dream Car Championship in Amateur League which is seven races. Each of those seven races has 5 laps. So to win just one GT40,you have to race 35 laps. To win all 5 colors you would have to do the Dream Car Chmpionship 5 times. Which come out to 175 laps. And even then you're not guaranteed to get a GT40. In GT3 I've got three GT40s. I used a Gameshark to get two of the three. It would save alot of time if you could paint a car once you win it.

A paint shop would be nice, but i'm sure PD has thought of this as well. If you stop and think for a while about just how the License Agreement goes down, this would cross your mind, PD can more than likely only use the paint jobs that are avalible to that one specific car., Im not sure but when you put in GT3 the license agreement on the screen says something about this. And i also read an article in PSM about body kits, and it says there is a good chance but only more so on the japanese cars, and by body kits i mean race spoilers, fiberglass bodys stuff like that, none of the stupid snap on ground effects or neon lights only the light but effective mods they actually use in JGTC and Le Mans

I believe that they were referring to the Racing Mods that PD says they would like to have back.

yea thats proably the Modifications... i dont think they'll have problems with having a paint shop so you could paint your car, and heck if they have a problem with useing diffrent colors, heck just use the ones made for that car and thats it, it doesnt bother me aslong as i can change the color of my car...........

If you remeber in GT2 a couple of cars like the R34 and S200 had more than 1 race mod, for the R34 there was 1 with a reall low front spoiler and the other had a more subtle kit, both were genuine race style mods but more choices like that would be nice.
