How old do you have to be to do it in America? In Aus you have to be 18!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid safe country:(

i want to say 13, or 14 to play at a course but we made our own course back when i played up in maryland and it doesnt matter as long as you have your own guns and pant mask ect.

I played when I was 14 (in the UK). But they did say when we were there that the age limit could go up in future, or there could be an all out ban.

I started playin paintball 2 years ago when I was eleven. Me n my friends are gonna make a team rpetty soon probably called Arsenic, The Fallen, or soemthin else. All I knwo is I'm helpin my friend get a JT Excellerator 3.0. :D

I would say any age, because I have seen little kids play paintball. But thats my opinion.

I've been playing for over 6 years now, have my own 3manteam and have been fully addicted to the game in the past 7 months. It is my passion, my life and want to eventually go Amateur before I'm too old to play. :indiff:
My Autococker alone is worth about 1200 dollars with all that is on the darn thing. Being E-bladed, can rip with the best high end markers and playing tournaments like we do, need this kind of firepower.
On getting hit in the crotch, you NEED to wear a cup, I always do and so far, have not got hit in the jewels, yet.
Also, ppl say that getting hit hurts, only if you are not in the game. Sure you feel the impact of the hit, but if you are in the game like you should be, then that's all you feel is the hit, not the pain. Call me a glutton for punishment I guess.
Just to give you an idea of how much you can spend having a team, paying for tournaments, equipment, etc, how does over 5 grand sound and thats just for equipment I've spent in the last 7 months for the team. It's all worth it though as we won our very first tournament we ever played in. 👍
To those on the recreational end of it, make sure you give paintball a good name.
Safety first.
Chrono those guns and make sure you have the barrel condems (socks) on those paintball guns at all times you are not using them.
72ElCamino, glad you're still playing 'ball man. 👍 :)
I know I haven't been around here much, been ballin, winning trophies in bracket racing and car shows and having the time of my old life. Yes, I'm 44 years old but in the best shape of my life and can keep up with my 15 and 16 year old team mates. 👍
What can you say, paintball is the shizzle.
People, Paintball is now ranked number 4 in the Extreme sports that ppl play and will become number one before long.
I'm also proud to say that I've done 4 out of 10 extreme sports in my life including Paintball, Rock climbing, Skateboarding (late '70's and early '80s), and Mountainbiking.
Enjoy your lives and live to the fullest.
Paintball is the only sport where you can shoot ppl legally and get away with it
Now you gotta love that kind of sport.
Good luck in your paintballing.

yeah, thats awesome man, what cars do you have in the car shows? My dad and i eventually want to sell my car ( the el camino) and get an old 66 vette. which we might restore another car. But the el camino was kind of fun to restore now that i think about it, and ill b crusing the streets in it in a month or so :sly: . Anyways back on topic, u bought an e-blade for ur cocker? i was thinking about it but thought it would b a waste since i just moved to georgia and havnt played in a while. Well goodluck with your team that u spent 5 grand on  i woulda spent it on car parts :trouble:

Lol, that's funny you should say that.
Yeah, I'd be in the 13's right now with all of that money invested but to me, paintball is more fun and I'm helping my young friends get their feet in the door to what they love to do, paintball.
If you don't pursue what you love, you might as well not do it is what I always say and to me, the money spent is all worth it.
The cars I have in the shows is the '97 Cavalier Z24 I've had.
She's a really clean car and has enough mods and upgrades on it that entering it in shows is alot of fun and have won a 1st place trophy for the best in class.
I'm getting it ready for one more show for the year and will have alot more done to it for that show in particular. I hope to get another trophy there too.
On the E-blade, if you thing you don't have the rate of fire to play with the others on the field, it's the best upgrade you can get to keep up with anyone on the field with the big, expensive guns they use. :dopey:
If you don't play much but want your mechanical Cocker to shoot a bit faster than the way it is, get the qev's (quick exhaust valves that fit on the ram to cycle faster) for the gun and you'll be able to pull a bit faster and have less ball breaks with them.
On getting another car, get what you will be happy with and do one thing, keep it.
I see so many that just go through cars, restore them, put them in shows and then turn around and sell them. I'm not that way, I keep what I restore and ppl realize that is what they should've done with all of their classics that they have had and sold.
Ask your dad sometime if he wouldn't have changed his mind now that he looks back on selling a car that he now misses. Hindsight is always 20/20 in this case. 👍
Good luck 72El, nice chatting with ya again and I'll try to be on the Planet a bit more often. 👍
