Painting Ford GT, Help!

So i love the ford gt and want it in many colors 2 colors im trying is green/white stripes and matte blue(or other blue execpt the default one)/white stripes but when i tried with this two paints the stripes got black, so theres a way to get the stripes white or every time you paint it goes black? o it only stays white with some paints?

as far as I know, they will be black everytime

Very dark colors like black and british racing green keep the stripe white, while light colors like red and white keep the stripe black. Sorry if you knew this already.

Might I suggest painting the Fod GT in the TVR color "Chameleon Blue"?
(Sorry, I don't have a picture to show what it looks like.)
It's rather close to the 'factory' blue color of a Ford GT - with green depending on how the sun/light hits the car...
