Have two questions that I will lump together. Looking for feedback on either, as I wonder if anybody has run into the same scenario. 1st off paints: While looking through paints to find one that I came across on a vehicle and really liked I noticed that I had two chips of this particular paint. However the chips are of two different shades of red. The chip is called : Rogue de mars and can be found under : Renault. I know there is info. on all the paint chips in the game and I will start searching for that after I finish typing this, but I was hoping for a quick and easy answer. Second "money": I started off after loading my game today with 1,000,000 credits. I then completed the current drift seasonal earning a total of 1,000,000 credits with login total and whatnot. However while adding the two sums together the overall balance became 1,998,800. Does anybody have any insight to this or has had the same thing happen. Overall will have me double checking everytime there is a deposit or withdrawal in the future. "Think Kaz may be stealing my dough" :sly:

I guess that certain paint chips may share a name but infact don't share the same colour/hue saturation whatever.

Perhaps one came from the MR Clio and another came from the Avantine (Maybe through the 10 free paint chips.

Also I think the game chunks chips together so maybe if you have saved and reloaded while someone sent you some paints you may get a pair of identical paint chips - rather than 1 paint chip with a quantity of 2... It is very mysterious.

Money...
1,200 credits... Did you but an Aston Martin keyfob or something?

1,200 credits would point towards one of the comfort tires, possibly.

Multiple shades are likely from different makes.

Thanks for the replies and I think that is it possible purchase of comfort tyres

There is different blues, different blacks, I've seen different reds, whites etc.. If you scroll down through these paints you sometimes will run across 2, 3, or even more of the same name paint chip.. But like in the case of indigo blue you may have more then one but they can be slightly different such as one indigo blue could be a color that Mitsubishi calls indigo blue. And another indigo blue could be a completely different color blue, but let's say Pontiac wants to call it indigo blue, puts it on there cars, therefore it releases on GT5 with multiple manufacturers calling different colors the same name.. Hope this helps and makes sense?

I can say for sure i know that there are atleast two companies with a calypso red.

I appreciate the input and get the jist of it. In this case both chips are renault but could be chips from different years different models.. Interesting I may have to paint two cars and do a side by side comparison..

Some paint chips will do what you're describing: Rosso Alfa from Alfa Romeo, for example, has three distinct chip colours from my recollection, and rather confusingly, two actual tones when applied to the car. Trial and error is the only way to figure them out. The Renault colours are the same.
