ive noticed on the gran turismo 4 car lists that there are separate lists for pal and ntsc cars. i was wondering if this should be the same on the concept and prologue lists. if someone wants them to be similar i am willing to do it for the site. any advice?

There isn't seperate lists because GT Concept and Prologue were only released in Europe, so there are no NTSC versions.

so why does it say at the top of the prologue lists 'Note: The PAL version of GT4:P contains a bonus car, the BMW Concept M5'? shouldnt that car be in the list with the rest of them? 💡

Oops, I forgot about Asia. :dunce:

I'm not completely sure, but I think both versions were released over there as well.

If you do happen to find the differences and sort them into a list, then yes, it's worth adding. 👍

Yep, a majority of those countries use NTSC. They would have an NTSC version of the game as well, as it was sold over there.

If that's what you're asking.

Edit: After looking on Wikipedia, there were several version of GT Concept:

Gran Turismo Concept versions:

Gran Turismo Concept: 2001 Tokyo Collection

Released only in Japan in the year 2001 for 3,200 yen. It first appeared in 2001's Tokyo Motor Show

Gran Turismo Concept: 2002 Tokyo-Seoul

Released only in Korea on April 9, 2002, this game featured Korean cars from Hyundai for the very first time. This game was based largely on the Gran Turismo Concept: 2001 Tokyo Collection and served as a launch pad for Sony Computer Entertainment Korea's Playstation 2 launch in Korea.

Gran Turismo Concept: 2002 Tokyo-Geneva

Released in Europe, Asia and Australia (Asian version DVD-9 was not released in Japan) in July 2002, this the most complete "Concept" version, giving all cars from others two previous versions adding a total of 65 new cars. The Asian version has a Tokyo Motor Show documentary.

It might be worth researching into which cars each version had, then putting them into a list.

That wouldn't be a bad idea at all. 👍

should i add an entirely new game under the game guides homepage for the concept i have (presuming the picture already there of tokyo 2001 is correct for the details registered). i have tokyo-geneva 2002 by the way.

well i still think of them as a gt game even if they are short, making them worth completing, making it worthy of the gtplanet website, if there are more like me, besides the fact that gtp is the best gt website there is?

Certainly it's worth documenting, but I don't feel every variant of every demo should have its own entry on the main guides page.

so maybe putting a subsection under concept so when you click on it, it takes you to a new page where you choose either 2001 tokyo, 2002 tokyo-seoul or 2002 tokyo-geneva?
