Paleolithic Dire Wolf Hunting on Reality TV

This is my idea for a new reality TV series.

The idea is that real people, clad in loin cloths, armed only with spears and knives would hunt and kill a dangerous animal. The catch is, it would be humane and involve an AI robot Dire Wolf in lieu of a real animal.

The AI Dire Wolf would be designed, built and certified to resemble and have accurate real life characteristics. But it could be prevented from delivering serious wounds from activation of a kill switch activated by the hunters or the Director.

The idea akin to watching racing or bullfighting. It would be real fighting between a small band of hunters - say two men and two women - who would try to kill the dire wolf with spears, knives, clubs or even rocks before it seriously injures them. If they push the button to shut down the "animal", then they lose the game, go home ashamed and empty handed. Fairly cheap thrills watching partially clothed people fight a vicious (robot) animal to the death. Could be set in a jungle stage, or outdoor rock wall theatre.
