Hey guys! Just a couple months ago, I bought GT4, and soon afterwards I began expirimenting with the Photo Mode. I thought it was the best feature in the game (besides the racing, of course) because you could take your favorite car out on your favorite course and take some pictures, then you could put them on a USB drive and onto your PC. I really thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, and it made me feel like a professional photographer. Cool stuff.

So here are some of the pictures I've taken. I don't have access to Photoshop, and if I did I wouldn't know how to use it, so they might not have as much "flair" as some other pictures around. Ah well...

Any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Nice! Most new photographers' pictures are too dark, but yours seem fine! 👍

Welcome. U got talent. I like your pics, even without Photoshop they are impressive. Try to bright them up a little more next time. Keep up, bring more:)

It's really nice,, for your start,, but as a few people mentioned already,, brighten them up and you will become better real fast:),, Oh well,, nice job mate and stop by at my gallery sometimes:)

Tip: Its okay if the picture looks horribly washed-out on TV. To see which brightness is the best, just take several photos of the same thing with varying degree of brightness. Then you should find the median brightness, which you can adjust every time you take a photo to match the mood and the situation.

UPDATE: 5-10-06

NSX-R at Motegi

I didn't get any comments on yesterday's update. :( But here's some more! I know it looks like I went a little overboard on the motion blur on some of these, but a little blur never hurt anyone, right? Otherwise, I thought these turned out very nice. Hope you guys like them as much as I do.

now wheres the panoz? :)

I know, I know. I just wish they had other Panoz cars than the Esprante race car. If I can get my hands on that I'll take some pictures of it.

By the way, I'll have some more stuff later today, but I'm not sure which car I'll do. So many to choose, so little disk space...

Mercedes 190E at El Capitan

By the way, I'll have some more stuff later today, but I'm not sure which car I'll do.

^Man, what a lie that was. I had lots of stuff to do, i.e. homework and other school stuff, get things for mom's day, etc. So I just decided to shoot a few today.

When I looked at them on my computer, they were all way too dark, (but they looked fine on the TV! Stupid black cars...) so I had to brghten them up. A lot. I thought they looked alright after that though. Hopefully the next update will be in less than a week. :P

The black cars can be very tricky to shoot. But I think you managed to quite a good job. cool shots dude.

nice shots...really like the Saleen & 190E shots the best...black cars are hard to photograph...trust me I know ;)

keep 'em coming :)

UPDATE: 5-15-06

Nissan 280Z at Tokyo R246

This is the same car I used for some of my first shots, as you'll see on the first post in the thread. It is a really cool car, in its own way I guess.

I'll probably get another update up in a few days, got a busy week, what with 2 band concerts and end-of-school projects, tests and other things due. I hope this week and next week go by fast, I can't friggin' wait for summer.

U are giving us nice pics!! Keep it up, U can get even better!! Btw nice NSX-R set, really impressive:)

Holy crap! That was a while! Sorry that I kinda left for about six months, I kinda-sorta stopped playing GT4 and got caught up in the lazyness of summer. And then when I got back to school in August, all my teachers naturally loaded me up with homework, projects, tests, and the et cetera.

BUT: My parents surprised me on Christmas, giving me an iMac!! This thing is really sleek and stylin', and I've already been expirimenting with iMovie and iPhoto. And just last night I made a "movie" in iMovie.

Notice I have movie in quotes. That's because it's just a slideshow with some catchy music in the background and some cheesy credits at the end (because every good movie HAS to have credits.). I posted it on the title message at the start of the thread, but here it is if you're too lazy to go back there and find it:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Kny3RUr3pho It's made up of those 190E pictures I posted a while back.

So there's my explanation, and my plug. More updates may or may not be coming in a few weeks (or less!), so I'll have to dust off that old PS2. I'll try not to leave you guys hanging for six months again. That is, if anyone actually missed me...

Haha, sounds like you had a good Christmas. Welcome back and hope to see some more updates from you in the future. I have some minor tips for you as well. Play around with the contrast of your photos it will make them more realistic. Another adjustment you can play with is the saturation. Saturation makes the colors pop off your image and make it much more visually pleasing. Other than that you have some nice angles and overall nice photos. Also pretty nice slideshow you got there.
