That tube looks interesting any more pics on what it looks like when completed or instructions? I feel like making that!

ahh! i love making paper airplanes. I got a book when i was young on how to make some really cool/unusual ones, gotta find it though:indiff:

Has anyone heard of a paperang? Their brilliant!

Meh. I've been making that "J-Line Original" number for 35 years. He didn't invent it - neither did I. All he does is fold the nose up instead of down, and make it a little deeper than I do.

It's far and away the best-flying variation on the simple dart.

I make a variant of

which has to be seen flying to be believed.

I make that one too, but I skip the keel and leave it flat across the bottom. Then I fold the winglets much deeper (in fact, so they meet at the centerline when making the fold). It's quite a stunter - behaves kind of like a gyroscope. It'll loop a bit and then suddenly snap inverted and stay doing outside maneuvers for the rest of the flight.

Mine you have to (well, you don't, but it behaves most spectacularly if you do) launch it by throwing it, outside away from you, across your body as hard as you can. If you get it right, you can throw it in a huge radius circle, coming right back to you. Throwing it really hard at the ground is good too.
