Parallel Drift

Anyone done it? I've been trying with a buddy of mine. Both in Ilink and good ol' one console battle. We've done some neat tricks, but have not been able to do it like the Takhashis. For the love of god, please post a video of it if you can. I would love to see it. I've done it with my ghost though;)
 
the way i do itis : i pick a car a drift a whole lap of the out side of every turn and then save the lap replay,then i load the replay on the same,change car and drift the track on the inside of the turns and that will make perfect parallel drift if you know how to control you drift well
 
My friend who doesn't really know what he's doing that great yet tried this with me on the first corner of Midfield with a duo of drift prepped Nismo R32's. Got the first about 3rd to half way through, then one of us caught traction and the other lost it, so one of us was in the grass in the inside, and the other in the dirt on the outside. Never came any closer after that. :lol:

just find 2 really good drifters. keep about a car length or less apart, and unless their drift angles differ extremely they should pull off some tandem drifts. or if your like the guys in D1, you can control your drifts to match your partners drifts....
 
i have a replay of me and my friend doing a parallel drift on Deep Forest but neither of us has hte equipment to make vids ... once we move in to our place when college starts up then we'll make on and then'll i'll up load it. It'll be a Team Drifto seris (a rip of Gran Drifto)
 
man i try posting my pics but its like forever not in it, oh well just look at my old Thread called TWIN DRIFTING PICS i think you have to go back, i show and got a lot of twin drifting pics, i will upload my video like 2MB soon ok
 
The only time I can do it is with myself and with 2 diff cars..I mean, there's no 2 people with the exact same drifting styles....And if there WERE they'd be using the same car anywho....Ya know?

Twin Drifting is much harder than it seems, but i never got a chance to do it with FR cars only with 4WD. Anyways i would love to see some more of it. There really is not much out there.

when making the vids, you should use a front view. change view to car in first place then hold L1 to look back. then you see both cars doing the drift and it looks nice. just a suggestion from a movie freak...
 
sheron how did u drift with your setting i think it hard ...
can u tell me how . just want to try drift with s/soft ( get bored drift with sim ) ...:D
 
yea all my friends dont drift but im not saying im good but none of them drift and when we try they dont take it seriously and just make up excuses to slam into walls all the time
 
I suppose it really has to do with practice and determination. Or maybe just skill that I and/or my freind lack;) I have to admit, usually I post while at school, so I sometimes have trouble with downloading certain things, like divx codecs. AAAAAAAH ****y PROXY!!!
 
Perhaps (although it is very unlikely) someone could do an Ilink battle with five others and drift in succesion. I have seen this in real life in option/best motoring videos. For those of you with broadband, check out these videos on kazaa (lite is best). There are at least four wholesome team drifts that I would suggest.

PS:Sorry to stray to tangents but the vids are related, right?:)
 
that wasn't twin drifting at all in Night_Drifters video :irked: whoever drove the S13 drives like my mom :lol:
 
yeah..i saw the camera shake while it was locked onto one of the cars. :(

edit: when GT4 comes out the BEST drifters can twin drift! wont that be a sight.
 
i just moved..so i dont really know anyone. but before i moved none of my friends could drift anyway :p
