Part One of my new vid

I finished Part One of my FF, MR, FR, and 4WD vid. I decided to cut it into two parts after I realized that the FF and MR clips alone are over 5 minutes long. I want to make it clear that I DO NOT drift FF and MR cars. I rarely try to get one sideways, and the FF clip in the vid was my 2nd lap ever in that car on that track. FR is my forte.

There's one screw up in the whole vid. I entered a turn a bit early in the FF section and clipped the inside wall. I decided not to edit it out because I feel that I don't need to hide the fact I made a mistake. In fact I really didn't care, as I said, it was my second lap. :D Anyway, I think it's good for people to see that even the best of drifters crash on occasion.

I made the video to my preference. I'm not trying to make a video to impress you guys. I'm merely sharing my style with you in search of comments and opinions. I edited the way I like, and I chose songs I like. It's nothing flashy or amazing, just good old fashioned good drifting.

I liked the vid its only one part tho right? i mean there isnt anyting wrong with it( cept the music. not a big rap fan). i really like the rsx drifting well sliding. good job i think.
 
FF - was ok - have seen better..
MR - nice - not what I expected though..

Looking forward to the Grand Finale - your "forte" that is... I know you are a FR specialist - and I know it will be off the hook - or atleast that's what I expect it to be... Also - I am very curious to see what you can do with 4WD's... hmmm....
 
I forgot to add info about the cars. The RSX was untouched. I won it and hadn't sold it yet, and decided to take it to the track. Completely stock on normal tires.

The MR-2 has a full race suspension, full drivetrain mods, and a Stage 2 weight reduction.

Not bad, looks a little rushed, but I was intrigued by the FF section. I've never even tried to drift a FF car in GT3, so that section will definately be a big help, if I ever decide to fool around with FF's. When can we expect part 2?;)

I wouldn't say it was rushed, but it's not like I spent hours on end doing it. The most time spent making this vid was deciding on tracks and sections. Actual drifting time was probably 10 minutes. I jsut went out and did it.

That's what I'm talking about. If you spent more time on the drifts, they would have come out smoother IMHO. Even if I get a clean lap on the first or second try, I still keep going until all the drifts are smooth, and refined. Don't get me wrong, I think the drifts were good, especially after only a few laps, but with a little more effort, I think it could be something really special. ;)
 
Well, I just go until I'm satisfied. The FF drifting was better than I thought after only 2 laps, so I figured, good, got that out of the way. Then I did the MR. That came out ok too so I moved on.

Yeah, I'm sure you will spend more time with the FR. ;)
 
many nice drifts there though u couldve picked a better drift track than laguna but nice drift with the rsx though the vid did look kinda rushed but good vid 4 how many laps u did, ill be looking foward to ur fr though to really amaze me.

19xx decided to deleat files off his server, because his bandwidth is almost used up. He said that he would leave the best video's up, and deleat the rest. ;)
