Partial language translation errors

Not to whine about a feature few of us use, but I found the translator feature quite...interesting! I always wondered what my posts looked like in Spanish or Italian, so it's kind of neat.

On the other hand, it seems the translation services can only process a few posts (or is it total number of characters) before posts appear back into its native tongue. Somewhere around daan's post, it reverts back.

That link doesn't seem to be working for the translated page, but I just tried it out from the home page and you are correct. I can't come to any explanation of why that is other than Google only translates so much of a page? It would be one way to cut down on processing and page loading time...but I just don't know. I don't have any control over the translating feature, of course, so there isn't really much I can do.

It works well enough, as long as the answer a foreign-language user needs is in the fist few posts.

Some of our user names and titles are quite funny when translated literally!
