Does anyone know what the general % increase of HP that each part (that increases HP) gives to a car?

Also what about the general % decrease in weight for chassis weight reduction? (windows gives 10kg and hood gives 5kg each time)

In my opinion, you really can't give a average percentage unless you narrow down your field. For example, you might get what you want if you were to give an engine size or other parameters of the like.

Sorry, there's just too many variables to take into account.

Well, if you are really curious you can become a mathematician/scientist and try to find some trends. I know, it is a bit dumb, but that is what I imagine most people would do for problems like this.

I'd imagine it'd be as simple as seeing what max HP can be produced without break in (a 0 mile car), taking another new car of the same type, add each part individually, and divide that by the max HP (repeat for each part).

Sorry if it sounds confusing lol.

Weight reduction seems like a fixed percentage, but I don't remember the numbers.

Power is harder, it relates to engine displacement and some other things.

I believe the OP can find some answer if he/she interprets controlled variables and the like to receive fine data. But I guess your words echo in a more meaningful tone since your posts regard a more logical approach.

Weight reduction stage 1 is in and around 100kg as an average for the majority of cars, not too sure of the numbers for 2+3 though...

Even displacement doesn't tell the whole story. Compare the Hyundai Tiburon Turbulence and the Eagle Talon ESi. If I'm not mistaken, their engines are of a similar size, and they have somewhat similar power figues stock (the Hyundai actually has more). Yet when you upgrade them, the Hyundai is down by almost 100 HP. The turbo boost gauge provides the clue: apparently, the Tiburon can't take much boost at all, while the Talon can pretty much fill the gauge.
