Why is it that no matter what car I enter, the tires wear out in less than two laps. I'm on stock tires, btw, not T7's or something.

How can a BMW 328Ci out drag a Corvette GS down a straightaway?

How can my Renault Clio's tires burn out in three laps, but a similar Renault Clio, who also happens to be in the lead, be picking up about 7-8 seconds per lap on me? But he doesn't have to pit in until the 8th lap!

This race is screwed... So far I've entered, an R34 Skyline GT-R, a Renault Clio V6, a Supra RZ, a Corvette GS, and an Elise 190. All of them are USELESS against the AI.

I'm seriously considering giving them an F094/S injection. That'll fly by em with enough speed to send em off into the Armco.

Buy T1's or similar. Is this Enduro a no-tune race, because if it is, then tyres do not count as a modification.

You can tune in this race but I wanted to do something "Straight out of the box"... but I can see that would be difficult.

I think I'm going to pop some T1's on a Clio V6 or the Elise 190, do an oil change, and have another run at it. Maybe about 270 hp out of the Clio, or about 230-235 out of the Elise should take it if necessary.

If all else fails, the GTS-R Concept I won from the S-License should put em in line.

Use T2 tires. The stock street tires stink - they have no life and no grip. T1s are Sport tires and have a little better grip but still no life. I never use street tires.

For some reason I lost my notes on what car I used, but I know it wasn't anything brutal. Maybe a Clio Sport, or an S2000, or something.

I'm going to try the Elise 190 on T2's and an oil change, chip, Full Suspension (to get the nervousness out of it), and LSD.

Use the F1. You can get it done quicker that way...

Welcome to GTP, slowman.

I used an Audi TT with most of the mods to it, and T4's. It was a close race with the Clio, which pitted every 7 laps. On the other hand, I hadn't tuned the tranny right, and was only getting up to the start of 6th gear at the end of the straight.

I wanted to win the Lancia Delta, but no dice.

Is that anything like being able to play the Minute Waltz in 52 seconds?

A little like that, yes... :D

Not matter what car you use you still have to race for 2 hours. With the F1 you'll just have a more comfortable lead.

That's why I didn't choose the F1... I didn't want to add miles to the ones I have. I have 3 F090/S, and two of them are untouched, one has about 1000 miles on it... I suppose I could've used it. But it was 2 hours no matter what you use, so I wanted the challenge.

I decided on the Subaru STi (with the frogeye headlights), and I'm doing a writeup on it.

Erm. It's not stock at all, but I used a Cobra with all non-engine modifications besides a racing chip and T2s.

Took me an hour to get past 3rd place.

If I were british, I would say that that's evo.

I did this race once with a NSX Type S Zero (I think it was Type S Zero ) and it was fully modded with I think T4's or T5's and won with out a problem.
It was a prize car too, and it was in one of those rare colors(kinda changey colorish).
sorry if I got any that wrong

I dont have it any more because I restarted my game to keep me ocupied till GT4.

EDIT: It wasent stock but I find it fun to seen how many times I can lap the oposition befor the end

Get the normal racing tires... or if you can do it in the 787B because it is a racecar and it comes stock with them and they last for ages they stay good for about 15 laps... well they did when i did that endurance race in my 787B...

Bet that wasn't too exciting. 👍 It's like hunting a mouse with an elephant gun! :sly:

Yeah well the first time i did it in the V12 vanquish... that was better but i still won easily... i did it again because i needed the zonda race car... i didnt know where else to get it....

i used a clio cup with a tyre upgrade (cant remember which) and i won by something obcenely far ahead. If your looking for easy, thats it. i left the enduro feeling like i needed more of a challenge

I enjoy the challenge! I might drop about 35-40 horsepower off my rex, and have another run at it for the F1 car.

I used the Mine's Lancer, lightly modded. Don't remember what tires I used, but I had to pit every 15-20 laps, somewhere in there.

Actually, I could probably find out, I don't think I've changed the settings since that race.
