What is the official day for Passover? I know I'll be re-reading the Exodus story again, as it is my favorite story in the Bible, and I'm positive we'll be watching The 10 Commandments like we do every year...

I think this is the first 'Holy Week' that I've ever semi-participated in, well, ever. That 'Bible as Story' class I'm taking has sparked some interest in it, but that doesn't mean I'm diving head-first into the whole Judeo/Christian world...

It would have been Sunday or Monday depending on where in the world you are, it's not worked out by our 12 month calender, it's done based on the lunar cycle.

Teaching me? This is why the dates change, for those using the christian system, just like Muslim holidays appear at a different date for us, too. The Muslim system, however, does not have these making-up-time extra-months which exist in the Jewish calendar (which are the equivalent of the Christian calenda's 29th of February) - so basically, none of the calendars is truly synched. Jewish and Christian dates are the same every 19 years, I think...
