A new update has been released for Gran Turismo 5.
The main contents of the update are as follows:

- Prohibited driving areas on the Top Gear Test Track have been adjusted.
- The rankings of the current Mercedes Benz Driving Event has been reset, and the event duration has been extended.


To check the version of your software, press the "Manual" button at the bottom of the main menu screen. The version number will be located on the upper left of the index page in this manual.

If the number starts with "Ver. 1.12.572", you are playing the latest version of the game.


Any other changes spotted? Please comment.

It's only 1.1 MB big. Possibly for patching the Mercedes-DC event.

The 3.72 Firmware update just improved system stability whilst using networking services like Online gaming.


EDIT: And Nokkien confirmed that the patch is just for patching the Mercedes-DC event. See OP for details.

Haha, it's a patch regardless, so they would have to call it 1.14.

3.72 also took away more gamers rights & we all agreed to not sue them in the event of a large scale data theft again.....

1.13 , sounds good , would be even better if they tweaked the circuit parameters for Le Sarthe & Monza too.

Yea man It was not this patch though, they really need to bring it back.

Yes during the replay. That's why I was so upset, my brother and I have some great fun in 2 player mode, then after that we take photos from the replay.

Scratch that, it was a setting on my stereo

When installing spoilers I noticed there is a red "installed" caption over ones already purchased. I don't remember seeing that before.
